2007-2008 MFRC Road Race Championship
Well, Dave Phillips hung on right down the finishing straight, holding off allcomers to take the Championship. Dave was the only one to run all 6 distances. ..... While I can see that some of us may not want to run a marathon, it is surprising that so few try a 5K. At one time everyone ran this distance (or 3 miles) in the summer handicaps, so perhaps we should target a race somewhere next year.

So, well done Dave, ...I'll give the silverware a polish. John Aylmer
